WHY:   Climate Justice Action and Climate Justice Now!, networks that encompass both the global North and the global South, are coming together to declare that the last fifteen years of the COP process has not only failed to protect our communities, but is putting corporate profits before the needs of people. The climate talks have been widely criticised for being undemocratic, marginalising the voices of those most affected by climate change and being totally inadequate to deal with the scale of the climate crisis.

If there are severe access restrictions at the Bella Centre on Tuesday morning, the conference will be held at the same time at an alternate location just outside the centre, and an advisory will be issued.
